Privacy Policy

TikTok Live Assistant (“the app”) is a desktop application that runs on your own computer. This policy explains what it does and doesn’t do with your data. We’ve kept it plain.

The short version

The app runs locally. We don’t require an account, and we don’t collect your name, email, or TikTok login. We don’t sell data, and the app has no advertising or tracking.

What stays on your computer

Your settings, custom messages, and the app’s memory of viewers (names and things they said in your chat, used to greet regulars) are stored only on your device. Uninstalling or clearing the app’s data removes them.

Live stream data

When you connect to a TikTok live, the app reads public live events (chat messages, gifts, follows, likes, shares) to decide what to say. This processing happens on your computer.

AI replies (optional)

If you turn on AI replies, you supply your own API key for a provider you choose (such as Groq, OpenAI, Google, or Anthropic). The chat messages the app chooses to answer are sent to that provider to generate a response, under that provider’s own privacy policy. If you don’t enable AI replies, nothing is sent to an AI provider.

Voice (text-to-speech)

The app offers two voice engines. The local engine runs entirely offline on your computer. The online engine sends the text to be spoken to Microsoft’s public text-to-speech service to return the audio. You choose which engine to use.

Licensing / activation

To activate the app, it sends your license key and a hashed identifier of your device to our licensing service to confirm the key is valid and to enforce one device per key. The raw device identifier is never sent, and no account, email, or personal profile is created. The service records only the license key, a device hash, and activation timestamps.

This website

This site is static and serves the download. It is delivered through Cloudflare, which may process standard, aggregated request logs (such as IP address and user agent) for security and reliability. The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

Children

The app and site are intended for creators and are not directed to children under 13.

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
